For Film, Television Companies, Local Societies and Businesses, there is an opportunity to hire our Grade II listed Victorian Italianate style villa location for filming, photographic shoots, meetings or events.

Our Lecture Hall, Museum Room and Garden are all available for hire, either separately or as a complete package for larger events. 

Lecture Hall

The hall includes a raised stage and is ideal for lectures, exhibitions, receptions and similar events. It has direct access to the garden. There is level access to the hall from the car park and disabled toilet facilities are available at the same level.

Museum Room

The museum room is ideal for classes, small meetings and similar events. It is accessible from outside or from the lecture hall via a short flight of steps.

Garden

The south-facing award-winning garden has a large lawn covering an area of approximately 500 sq. m and is ideal for outdoor displays, small fetes and similar events. The lawn is surrounded by well-stocked borders, which can provide an attractive backdrop to your events. Small marquees and similar protective shelters may be erected.

Hire charges

The Lecture Hall (£130 for 3 hours) and Museum Room (£90 for 3 hours) are available in the morning, afternoon or evening, and the Garden is available (additional charge in conjunction with hire of the Lecture Hall) mornings and afternoons. Rates for a full day or longer term agreements are negotiable. The charges include on-site parking as well as the use of the kitchen, with crockery and cutlery provided.
