Lecture: 'The Great Reappearing Act: How to reverse the world's wildlife declines' - BNSS

Event date: 30th June 2018 at: 2.30pm

Speaker: Philip Lymbery

Philip is an Author and Chief Executive, Compassion in World Farming. Today, many animals face extinction and it’s not only climate change and poaching that are to blame. The impact of an industrial approach to agriculture is having a devastating effect. Yet, awareness is slowly building that the wellbeing of society depends on a thriving natural world. Building on his latest book, Dead Zone: Where the wild things were, Philip Lymbery will take us on an investigative journey across the globe, focusing on iconic wildlife species to understand the role that industrial farming is playing in their plight and to highlight the work of pioneers in food, farming and conservation, who are taking action to save life on Earth.
