With the record prices that gold is reaching now, there has a been a resurgence in prospecting and mining for British gold and the talk will be looking at the history, distribution and future for the mining of British gold. Gary has been an amateur mineral collector for over 55 years and a member of Southampton Mineral & Fossil Society and the Russell Society, a national UK mineralogical society. He spends most his time researching, studying and writing about minerals and mineral locations in the British Isles as well as curating his own collection.
